The White Room Spa ~ Facial Review

If you have been following my blog for a while, you would have picked up on my obsession with skincare. So when earlier this week, I was invited to visit The White Room Spa, located in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) to trial their facial treatments, I was delighted to learn, that in all their facials and massage sessions, they exclusively use the Yon-Ka range. Known to be a “spa favorite” with pre-dosed essential oils and botanical extract blend, this aromatic experience is both refreshing and rejuvenating.

It’s been a while since I’ve heard about the Yon-Ka skincare range and it’s growing dominance in therapeutic facial care industry. If you’re into aesthetic aromatherapy, then you would have already heard about this range.

So basically, Yon-Ka derives it’s meaning from the 2 syallables, “Yon” and “Ka”, where;
Yon: is a river with rapid and purifying water, and also the energy particle; ion.
Ka: in ancient Egypt, Ka signifies the vital and eternal force that is inherent in each individual.

My therapist, Ella, recommended the Hydralessence Facial Treatment for me. This is an intense hydrating facial suitable for those with dry skin. The one-hour facial will help restore balance, hydrate and nourish your skin. The softening action of seaweed and fruit extracts, the intensely hydrating masks, including a massage with fine aromatic mist, exfoliation, gentle pore extractions, with the energizing scents of the essential oils of rosemary, lavender and thyme leave you completely relaxed. She also used a variety of gentle compressions and strokes to help relax the neck and upper back muscles after the facial session. This was the best way to end the facial. 🙂

I came out feeling relaxed and refreshed. No post-facial redness or discomfort. If you’re looking for a relaxing facial, then you should certainly give this a try!

love,
Sahar x
