Origins | Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask
The mask combines charcoal, an active ingredient that works to detoxify the skin and nourishing and soothing honey to balance out any potential dryness. And anyone with any skin type—normal, dry, oily, or combination skin—can use it.
Clear Improvement is a deep-cleansing detoxifying mask that helps with minimizing pore size. On testing, it smells great and leaves your skin feeling refreshed, not dry.
Pixi Beauty | Rose Tonic
If you take your skincare game seriously, chances are you’ve heard about Pixi’s best-selling number, Glow Tonic. It’s an exfoliating toner, powered by Glycolic Acid 5%, Aloe Vera and Ginseng which removes dead skin cells to reveal smooth and healthy glowing skin.
And, now it seems like Pixi’s research and development team are working tirelessly to formulate newer additions to their cult-favourite toner. Things seem to shape up quite nicely. We will soon be seeing their new Rose Tonic —which helps to neutralize the skin and hydrate it with it’s unique botanical formula. The water-based toner has a fresh and true rose scent, that quickly dissipates, and can be comfortably incorporated in both your AM and PM routines.
Unfortunately, we’ll still have to wait for the Retinol Tonic. It is expected to launch here in the United Arab Emirates by early next year.
SEPHORA Collection | Masks & Exfoliating Wipes
Sephora has released an all-new colourful selection of skin and body care products for the season. You can find last season’s launches here.
They have also launched a set of new sheet masks which includes; Primer, Mud, Charcoal and Bubble masks. The foaming formula of the bubbling mask is designed to detox, oxygenate & rejuvenate the skin. The product claims to help with blemishes, pores and is targeted for acneic skin types. We are super excited about these new additions! 🙂
Starskin Beauty | Orglamic Pink Cactus
Rolling out in October, is Starskin’s new Orglamic Pink Cactus collection which includes the pudding (yes, it’s actually called ‘pudding’), a face mist, glass and an oil mask.
Boscia | Cactus Water Hydrating CreamBoscia has launched two new products; the Cactus Water Hydrating Cream and the Matcha Magic Super Antioxidant Mask. As a brand that only uses ingredients derived from nature, their products are also vegan and 100% gluten free.
The matcha mask has a Sephora Clean* seal which means it is formulated without: Sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, triclocarban. It does however, have an unpleasant chemical smell once you apply it on the face.
The Cactus Water Hydrating cream on the other hand, is a succulent based product. It has an ultra light weight formula that restores moisture in the skin without leaving behind a heavy residue that many creams have. This makes it perfect as a primer before you apply your makeup base. The cream goes on light on the skin, and keeps it hydrated for hours.

Briogeo | New Haircare Brand
This is a 6-free hair care brand; meaning their formulas are free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicones, DEA and synthetic color. “Brio” is an Italian word that means “vibrant and full of life” and “Geo” is a Latin word meaning “of Earth and nature.”Each and every product from its selection has pure, yet potent ingredients such as: charcoal, ginseng and rosehip oil. The ingredient list includes the exact percentage of each actives. Their best-seller is the ‘Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask’ that promises not only to restore moisture but fix your split ends too. We’re so excited about this new launch and can’t wait to give it a test!
