Now You Can Lookfantastic In UAE

Now, if you haven’t heard, Lookfantastic is one of UK’s leading beauty retailers, stocking skincare and makeup from premium brands such as Dermalogica, Pixi, Filorga, Elemis, Jurlique, Elizabeth Arden, Alpha-H and The Ordinary among many more. Lucky for us, they have now launched a website in the U.A.E. with exclusive deals on offer at unbelievable prices!

Additionally, it is also one of UK’s leading subscription beauty boxes. Each month, a new box is curated which includes a variety of best sellers in both sample or full-sizes, a copy of the latest issue of ELLE as well as the beauty box magazine.

I am also offering a special discount code for all you amazing blog followers, to get 22% off your purchases (exclusions may apply). You can find the code towards the end of this page.

Do you want to know what was featured inside the July edition of the Lookfantastic beauty box? First things first, the box design for this month’s ‘Golden Goddess’ theme is just gorgeous! The theme was selected keeping in mind the rising mercury levels in Dubai, with a step-by-step guide to the best summer hairstyles and top-rated summer beauty products.

Once you dig inside, these are the products in the Lookfantastic July 2018 box:

Filorga UV Bronze After Sun

A triple action gel-to-oil formula with a light texture that calms the skin after an intense tanning session by the pool. It is enriched with Argan, Apricot, Almond and Avocado oil, Hyaluronic Acid and an amino acid complex – the formula contains all the essentials to nourish and moisturize the skin.

Filorga is one of my favorite skincare brands, and I have previously reviewed their Lift Structure cream on my blog. I have also trailed the Filorga UV Bronze SPF50+ Face Cream (you can find the review on my Instagram). So, I’m very excited to try this tan booster gel, considering they are from the same range.

SVR Laboratories SebiaClear Gel Moussant Cleanser

The Sebiaclear range is a targeted skincare line for acne-prone skin. The gel moussant is a soap-free cleanser suitable for combination/oily and sensitive skin types. It is both alcohol-free and paraben-free. The two main ingredients listed in this product are: gluconolactone (keratolytic and anti-inflammatory) and niacinamide (vitamin B3/regulator and barrier-booster).

The two active ingredients together helps in improving skin tone and down-regulating sebum production in acneic skin. I use on wet skin, either alone, or with my Foreo Luna Play device. It effectively cleanses the skin, without over-drying or irritating it.

The box also includes the following items, in a travel-size packaging:

  • First Aid Beauty – Face Cleanser
  • Doucce Freematic Highlighter Mono – Sparkled Ray
  • Lancer Omega Hydrating Oil
  • Keratase Reflection Bain Chromatique Shampoo

Some of the products in the box are from brands I’ve never tried anything from including the Doucce highlighter and Lancer omega oil, so I’m quite excited to sample those.

I think Lookfantastic beauty boxes have a good return value, especially if you sign up for the yearly subscription. The products this month were all travel-sized (except for Filorga Tan Booster), but are all very usable.

If you’re not yet subscribed to LookFantastic’s beauty boxes, you can get your hands on the July Beauty Box here, and find out more about their subscription packages here.

Plus, as an additional treat for all my blog readers, you can use the code DRS22 for 22% off your order!

Do you get any beauty subscription boxes? Which are your favorites? Do let me know! <3

Update~ 10/08/2018:
The delivery service is fast and the products comes well packaged, however, of the three items I placed an order for, one was out of stock. Despite several reminders and filling out online forms, I was informed a month later that the given item is unavailable and I would be refunded. A little hiccup on the customer service and follow-up.

      Hello! Hope you’re doing well.
If your total purchase is above AED 400, then you won’t be charged for the shipping charges, however, if it’s below the stipulated amount, then you’ll have to fork out AED 20 for the service. It usually takes 4-7 days for the delivery. They do offer a faster shipping service for double the amount, but I’d rather pay just 20. 🙂

What courier do they use for deliveries in UAE. Postal (PO Box) or Courier? Thanks!

      Hi Michelle,

I set my shipping address via courier, so there was no need to add in a postal code with that.

      Hope that was helpful! 🙂

Hello Kate. I have ordered twice with them and while it usually takes somewhere between 5-10 days to receive the products, I got mine within 7 days. I opted for the ‘tracked delivery’ option and paid Dhs 20 for the shipment charges with my UAE address. My only concern is the lack of communication on their end, on items that are running out of stock – you’ll have to follow it up on your own to get your refund. But other than that, no complaints.

Please do let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help! 🙂
