Afnan Perfumes – a homegrown brand with strong Arabian roots that specializes in incense, concentrated perfume oils and an amalgam of modern oriental perfumes. In this article, I’ll be sharing my insights on one of their best-sellers, Silver Supremacy.
Interestingly in less than a decade, this local perfume house has earned itself a reputation among fragrance enthusiasts worldwide. In particular, Supremacy has been one of their most talked collections. So naturally, it piqued my curiosity and I knew at that instant I wanted to explore this perfume house further.

Afnan Silver Supremacy
Design & aesthetics
Silver Supremacy comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a raised crest-style logo etched to the surface and sealed with a matching cylindrical silver cap. The reflective glass bottle changes colour from silver to chrome, depending on the angle at which the light falls on it. Moreover, the bottle also appears transparent when held against light allowing you to see the liquid inside.

How does it smell?
With an impressive 4.3 rating and almost 330 votes on Fragrantica, what is not to love? Silver Supremacy by Afnan was created for men and was launched way back in 2013.
While most perfume collectors have christened it to be an an Aventus clone, Silver Supremacy is best described as a wood/ floral musk. The fragrance opens with bright citrus-fruity accords which smoothly morphs to a floral-woody fougere dry down. Afnan’s Supremacy conquers with its intense and well-rounded upper chords of bergamot, pineapple, and blackcurrant. Though I must add, the pineapple note here is not quite heavy and is easily masked by the prominent citrus opening, it is still detectable.
After fifteen minutes, it gives way to the sharp middle notes of birch, patchouli together with a hint of jasmine and rose. As it progresses, it veers more toward herbaceous accord, and becomes slightly spicier. On application, I find it scoring remarkably high on both longevity and projection. Supremacy has a decent 6-7 hour longevity and is great for daily office wear.
After trying this from their Supremacy collection, we’re tempted to test more from this perfume house. So in short, yes it’s totally worth the blind purchase and you won’t regret it! You can purchase it online through Amazon on the links shared below below or directly from Afnan Perfume stores across the United Arab Emirates.
